Sharon deRyck has worn many hats in her multi-faceted career. She feels blessed to have had the opportunity and experiences that formed the compassionate, wise, and understanding woman and mentor she has become. 

While working for a large US Corporation she longed for something more compassionate and caring in the workplace arena. It is then she became fascinated by the many healing modalities she discovered and experienced. This led her to study three simultaneously, which entailed countless weekends dedicated to Workshops in preparation for her future career as a Holistic Practitioner.

In the late 90’s, Sharon became a Certified Reflexologist, a Healing Touch Practitioner and a Reiki Master. Later added Journey Practitioner advanced.  She opened her Healing Path Centre part-time and worked part-time while building up her client base. 

The Job that enhanced her life path: was that of an Intake Worker for a Human Services Counselling Agency that supported women victims of Domestic violence, all traumatized, zero self-esteem and zero confidence after years of abuse. It broke her heart and led her to a bigger Purpose she never imagined. To help these women she would need some training and   The Transpersonal Centre in Toronto became the place. Years of evening and weekend classes. Numerous teachers and mentors - learning East West Psychology, Shamanism, Spirituality, New therapeutic modalities and so much more. Finally; qualified to do the work that was so needed. 

Experience:  Going forward, Sharon will be able to draw on all of her training and experience as a Mentor, Therapist, Reiki Master, Holistic Practitioner, Spirituality/Meditation Teacher and her 25 plus years in practice to exclusively mentor mature women and guide them from uncertainty to clarity, confidence, and positive, rewarding outcomes in their lives.

Now more than ever, women are eager to take that leap of faith, believing in themselves and their dreams. A life filled with Purpose, Passion, and Joy is everyone’s dream and I am committed to mentoring women to live their dreams.   

Personally:  Sharon’s life has been one of accepting and welcoming Change in all of its many forms. She believes the Universe moves us out of our comfort zone so we can experience bigger and better opportunities, ones we never would have pursued on our own. Her story of Change when at age 30, with her husband and 3 young sons, immigrating to Canada to start a new life after having to leave everything they owned behind due to political unrest.

 She shared her journey of Change in a story she wrote titled A River Called Change. It was published in a Journal she co-authored titled Positive Thoughts and a Grateful Heart in 2024.

 Note: There is so much more I plan to do going forward and I look forward to working exclusively mentoring mature women to dream big.  As I keep saying: “The women will lead the world into a new way of life that is supportive of all live on our planet.  They will birth a world of compassion and sisterhood, knowing the ancestors are guiding and supporting us in this time of Change.”   It is not a time to play small!
